Mr. Ahmad bin Ali is a former Director of Security and Public Order Section at the Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister’s Department (EPU, JPM). Among fundamental part of his responsibilities are the planning and formulation of policies, strategies and allocation of development budget for Security and Public Order Sector.

Mr. Ahmad has been in the Malaysian Civil Service for over 23 years. He started his career as an Assistant Secretary, Foreign Investment Committee Section, EPU, JPM in 1994. During his tenure in this section, he was involved in preparing and processing the acquisition of assets and shares, restructuring, merger and take-over of companies

In April 2005, he briefly served as Principal Assistant Director in Services Industry Section, EPU, JPM before he was assigned back to the Foreign Investment Committee Section as Principal Assistant Secretary in August 2005. In 2008, he started to serve in the Security and Public Order Section, EPU initially as the Principal Assistant Director before being promoted as Deputy Director of Security and Public Order in 2013.

He was also involved in the preparation of the Ninth Malaysia Plan (2006-2010); Tenth Malaysia Plan (2011-2015); and the latest Eleventh Malaysia Plan (2016-2020), specifically in relation to security and public order.

Mr. Ahmad holds a Bachelor Degree with Honours in Economics from University Malaya in 1985 and a Diploma in Public Administration from the National Institute of Public Administration in 1995.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Malaya (UM). He has more than 10 years of experience in Security Services Industry. Apart from that, he has more than 8 years of experience in finance and proves that he has extensive experience in financial management and corporate management.

Puan Shahida binti Ab Jalil was born in Perak in 1984. She graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting from University Sains Malaysia (USM). She has more than 8 years of experience in Human Resource Management. The important position she held was Accountant, Prime Minister's Department in the Ministry of Economic Affairs. She is also the former Manager of the Royal Bank Of Canada in Kuala Lumpur and was 5 years in the security services sector as a Human Resource Manager. This proves that she has extensive experience in financial and corporate management
